Job Purpose and Impact

The Strategic Account Manager will be responsible for expanding Cargill’s strategic partnership with a leading global QSR in UK & Ireland. In this role, you will create demand for our products and services by raising the company's profile with this strategic customer. You will collaborate with a cross functional team to ensure defined customer needs are met.

Location: Flexible across the UK

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and implement strategy for a leading QSR customer, enabling business expansion and mutual growth.

  • Establish trust, and continue to build out a long-term focussed partnership.

  • Clarify mid to long-term customer needs and deliver against specific customer requirements.

  • Collect insights from the external market to build a view of the competitive landscape, industry trends, and market forces.

  • Build and nurture an internal network that will deliver value-add solutions in areas such as; product & service innovation, sustainability, and product quality.

  • Use tailored storytelling that resonates with and inspires our customers, creating excitement around our role as a leading supplier.

  • Provide expert thought leadership in your field and work proactively with limited direction, using additional research and interpretation to identify potential challenges & opportunities.

  • Other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience

  • Experience in understanding customer context, uncovering customer key performance indicators, articulating customer objectives and adding value to partnerships

  • Experience in business development & key account management in highly competitive, mature markets

  • Experience in project management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in the Protein/Poultry/Food industry

  • Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or related field

  • Commercial experience working with Multinational B2B customer
