Job Title: Production Supervisor m/f
Kerry Glamsbjerg is Kerry’s only Danish plant and was acquired in 2014. The plant operates with a filtermat F3000 spray dryer, a niro Atmoizer spray dryer and dry blending. The site has an extremely impressive customer portfolio supplying across all continents. The facility is of strategic importance to Kerry, there is an exciting pipeline of projects currently under consideration to help continue delivering growth for now and the future. This growth has been supplemented by a strong lean manufacturing mind-set and investment in people capability development.
With direct reference to the production manager you will be employed in an operational group. This group carries out the tasks in the following production areas: Commodity receipt, Chopping, Melting, spray drying, blending and Packing. Your main tasks will be:
• Ensure a healthy work environment for your employees
• To ensure optimal and efficient day-to-day operation, including upcoming staff contacts within own areas
• To implement the standards in their own Department and Kerry across production
• To contribute to the optimisation and further development of cheese powder production
• To develop ratios of visibility of efficient operation within own areas
• To lead and implement projects for the development of facilities and production processes
• To conduct miscellaneous ad hoc tasks
• To participate in the assurance of our QEHS-system
You have a food technical background as an engineer, technician or similar preferably with a few years of work experience.
Applicants with experience in personnel management is preferred. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, have team spirit, good understanding of production conditions and have the desire and ability of the personnel management. You are flexible, independent, enterprising, positive and willing to make an extra effort when needed. Knowledge of SAP and mastery of English in speech and writing will be an advantage.
Danish language is ‘essential’.
