Location of role:

This role will be located at our state of the art Global Technology & Innovation Centre in Naas (which is 40 mins south of Dublin Airport).  This facility has been designed to bring together all our capabilities and technologies in one location. The Centre offers our customers a truly unique relationship experience, working closely with our industry experts in the optimum environment allows them to see firsthand the technologies, innovation and value that we can offer them and their business. This in turn allows customers to develop the unique and innovative products they want, that can be delivered quickly to market and can differentiate their brand in the market place. The Centre facilitates our customers and employees expertise in a way that makes it easy to collaborate and deliver innovative, integrated solutions.

 

Core responsibilities will include:

  • Building, leading, and providing direction to the applications team
  • Innovative product and menu development
  • Building relationships with peers at key accounts and using these relationships to drive new business opportunities for Kerry and the customer
  • Helping customers to create briefs for Kerry and working with Kerry RDA to execute successfully on these briefs
  • Working with Kerry’s R&D teams in such areas as
  • Creating gold standard recipes
  • Providing info and background on key culinary trends
  • Taking market products and using pack-of-pack ingredient lists and nutritional to recreate the product in a lab / kitchen for the purposes of product development
  • Taking recipes from bench top to pilot scale to production maintaining the products taste and functionality in industrial setting
  • Applying Kerry’s solutions in applications that resonate with customers
  • Developing solutions that work in customer application

Qualifications:

The successful individual will show:

  • At least 5-10 years of experience in a similar role.
  • A culinary arts background along with a science based qualification
  • Naturally inquisitive person, who is willing to challenge long held beliefs norms.
  • Open to learning, gaining experience from & imparting knowledge to colleagues.
  • Willing and able to travel across Europe and globally as required.
