The Marketing Manager Chocolate Decorations & Key Accounts will work from Mouscron, in Cargill’s House of Chocolate.

Job Purpose and Impact of the Marketing Manager Chocolate Decorations and Key Accounts

Pastry chefs, chocolatiers and many more artisans use decorations and inclusions to make their cakes, pralines and other creations look beautiful and taste delicious. The Marketing Manager Chocolate Decorations & Key Accounts will oversee managing our decoration brands (Leman & Smet), position our gourmet offering towards key account customers, and will implement specific marketing strategies and media (e.g., print, digital) to launch and position the chocolate decorations brands. We seek a senior professional who will conceptualize and bring to life marketing plans to create demand and maximize sales of our broad range of decoration and inclusion products.

Key Accountabilities as Marketing Manager Chocolate Decorations and Key Accounts

  • In collaboration with our sales and account managers, conduct customer and end-user analysis
  • Co-develop business cases, value propositions and pitches for decorations & key account customers
  • Evaluate and recommend accordingly promotion and advertising programs (decorations & key accounts)
  • Lead the development of marketing material for the sales force to use or for communication purposes to
  • reach a maximum number of customers and prospects for Key accounts and decorations
  • Plan, create and produce digital marketing for our decoration brand(s)
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex
  • issues to appropriate staff.
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business related
  • Minimum of four years of related work experience
  • Fluent in English – proficiency in French and/or Flemish/Dutch are appreciated
  • Other minimum qualifications may apply

Preferred Qualifications

  • Build partnerships and collaborate with others to meet shared objectives.
  • Develop and deliver multimode communications that convey a clear understanding of the unique needs of different audiences: from value proposition to final marketing collateral.
  • Experience and/or education in digital marketing is/are a strong plus
  • Curious and passionate about Gourmet.
  • Energizer.
