Job Purpose and Impact as Account Manager Food Ingredients and Feed

The Account manager Food Ingredients & Feed will, with guidance, sell directly to the business purchaser or indirectly through various sales channels. We seek a results-oriented professional who is comfortable conducting remote sales with new and existing customers within the food & feed sector. In this role, you will assist in evaluating customer needs and suggesting appropriate products, services and solutions. You will be part of the sales team, focusing on the European industry and you will be managing a diverse range of customers, with the goal to be a trusted advisor.

Key Accountabilities as Account Manager Food Ingredients and Feed

  • Develop and utilize best-in-class commercial intelligence and insights to ensure customer understanding and insights to ensure customer understanding via direct relationships
  • Identify new business opportunities and commercial partnerships in the animal feed market
  • Responsible for EURO 6-10 Mio contribution margin
  • With guidance conduct market research and pricing, sales and merchandising activities
  • Monitor customer and competitor activity and industry trends
  • Protect, grow and diversify the relationship with targeted customers
  • Support business growth by disseminating favourable information about the organization and its products and services
  • Independently solve moderately complex issues with minimal supervision, while escalating more complex issues to appropriate staff
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
  • Minimum of two years of related work experience in sales
  • Proven track record of successful customer relationship management and business development
  • Fluency in English & French

Preferred Qualifications

  • Two to five years of sales experience, including developing deep customer engagement and prospecting for new customers in a B2B environment
  • Integrity and trust in combination with the drive to achieve results and the ability to build, long terms relationships with our customers
